I checked the length of the case and it is within the tolerances in the manuals. It will not hurt anything to fire those cases with the bolt being hard to close. To neck size do I need a different die or can I use the ones I have. Thanks for all the input.
If its just a bit stiff to close you will be fine , having to stand on the bolt handle is another matter .
Once you have fired these cases in your bolt gun they will be fireformed to that chamber so no more problems .
As for the neck sizing , that can be done 2 ways
1 - you can get a Neck Only sizing die or
2 - you can just back your FL sizer out till your only part sizing , were the neck and the upper 1/3 or so of the case body is being sized but the shoulder is not being bumped back .
I do it both ways depending on the rifle and round , they both have a place were they work well .
