This is probably really old news, but why did H&R officially cancel the 7mm and 300 Win Mag production?

Not enough distributor pre-orders were received, so they didn't spend the $20k for final testing, it was canceled before the 2008 SHOT show.

If their representatives are at the SHOT show I am going to give them a piece of my mind.  About dropping the Magnum calibers, and dropping the ejectors.  Rog

The closer it gets to show time the more fired up I get about both of these issues.  The T/C guys are going to get an earfull as well.

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Buckslayer you are right, I would not trade my TCR for five Encores.  I only have one use for the Encore, it makes a great Muzzleloader.  As for Hunting No, I had rather carry a Handi.  The Encore shoots like crap.

Everyone that shoots my TCR tries to talk me out of it.  Especially with the .338 barrel, that is one sweet shooting gun.
