mortar ordered

Well I went and done it; placed an order for one of Dom's dictator mortars and now the wait commences  ;D When not making smoke it will be used on my Union Navy living history display.

and did you go with the extra deep barrel?     i love the longer barrel dictator.     i want one
looking for ejectors - 308, 8mm, 35 rem, 25-20, 32-20, 357 mag, 45LC

You better start working out now, that thing weighs 92 lbs.

Since I got mine weather up here hasn't been conductive to shooting.

YUP.  I'd wait till it warms up to -10F!

(Yes, I have fired my beer-can caliber mortar when it was -10F out.)  Report was muffled some from the snow cover and you couldn't hear any of them hit.  Strange, but some winters in Iowa are loooonnng.
