Survivor in .223?
« on: December 21, 2008, 05:03:42 PM »
Hey guys how do you guys feel about the survivor?  I've heard that the LOP is short for a lot of people.  I was thinking of one in .223.  Thanks for any advice!
When an Army captain asked him for the direction of the line of retreat, Col Puller called his Tank Commander, gave them the Army position, and ordered: "If they start to pull back from that line, even one foot, I want you to open fire on them."
Turning to the captain, he replied "Does that answer your question?
We're here to fight."

hey alien319,          I GOT BACK FROM IRAQ LAST WEEK , SURE HAPPY TO BE HOME.  THE SURVIVOR IS GREAT GUN , EVEN IF YOU FIND THE STOCK TO SHORT YOU CAN CHANGE THAT BY  INSTALLING A REGULAR STOCK .    I HAVE A .223 IN THE SUPERLIGHT HANDI , ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GUNS, EVEN THOUGH I HAVE SOME BOLT RIFLES COSTING ALOT MORE.          TRY THE SURVIVOR , I THINK YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.               FBC

Thanks FBC,  I hope your trip to Iraq went well.  I got back in Oct.  It is a great feeling to be home that's for sure!  Hope you have a new gun lined up for a Welcome Home gift!!

I am 6'1" and take a 36" sleeve length in a shirt. I use a Survivoir stock on my .22 Mag Sportster for coyote hunting on Maine and it fits and works great. I did not like them at first glance but gave them a try. I say give one a try and keep an open mind, it may surprise you....<><....:)
