Their table that includes the 44 magnum rounds on velocity and energy, are the 44 magnum rounds at the low end of the scale. I load, shoot and hunt and chronograph with the 44 magnum from my Smith M-29 Performance Center gun. I just can't stand an article that puts the low end of any well known performance round just to pump up the round they are promoting.

A 200 grain Hornady XTP HP bullet can be driven from a 6" barrel with a load of N-110 24.4 grains, and this will give you 1500fps all day long. VV reloading book calls for a maximum charge of N-110 of 26.3 gr. for the 200 grain XTP. How fast do you think that will get ya?

Dave
