This is probably the wrong forum to ask this question but why are there not more western trappers on the ballet for the board of the fur takers of america.

Oso, take a look at the number of people in the western states.There are not a large number.I do not have the number of trappers located in the western states--but here again,not huge numbers.Seems like you get most of your activity from where the largest number of trappers live.  Tom

Like Bog said not to many of us around is one reason.

For instance Wyoming has a population of less than a half million people, 480,000 last I heard. I believe they sell less than 2,000 trapping license a year.
