Savage Weather Warrior
« on: December 23, 2008, 07:49:36 AM »
Walmart buys guns at Lipseys and will order through a catalog behind the counter.  They list the Weather Warrior, but it does not say whether the WW is with the Accustock.  Any thoughts?

Never mind...called Lispey's direct...they still have not received any of the Weather Warriors with the Accustock.  I hope I can get one in .308 Left Hand by June 2009 so I can be ready for hunting season.

Be honest with yourself.  Can you guarantee you would hit a paper plate at 250 yards...100 yards...50 yards?  Then you have no business replacing the plate with a live animal.

Do you mean Accutrigger rather than Accustock?

Actually the Accustock is a newly upgraded synthetic stock Savage has designed to add stiffness in front of the action with an aluminum rib.  Many have complained about the flexibility of the current sythetic and this stock should just about be hitting the shelves.  They will still be selling out old stock of course, so if you want the new one you will need to make sure that is what you are getting.
