There is a company selling a combination one piece weaver scope base with an adjustable peep sight built in to the rear. I was wondering if anyone has seen or tried one.

I have seen a couple different sights like you are asking about the first is called a peeprib sight I entered this for a search and it brought up the manufacture I have never used these sights but they look pretty good.The other mount that I have used is made by Aimtech I bought one several years ago for an MK-85 it is just a raised mount with a hole drilled through it.This site works good but there is no way to adjust unlike the peeprib sightwhich uses a wgrs peep hope this helps Night

The Peeprib is made by E A Brown Co (EABCO.com).  I use one and just love it.  The Peeprib is made for weaver-style mounts--I use Warne scope mounts and I can put a scope on or take it off my Encore and still maintain the same zero.  I hunt in South Dakota, and they have a regular rifle season, then a muzzleloader hunting period, then rifle again for does for awhile, then back to muzzleloader.  I can simply take the scope off and use the peepsight on the Encore for the muzzleloader season.  The peep sight is adjustable and very precise.  It extends the practical range of the 209X50 far beyond what the open sights would allow.

I thought they looked like a good idea but didn't know if they were of quality construction or had some other drawback. Hard to tell just by looking at a picture.  I think I will get one for next year I don't see MN coming to it's senses about even zero power scopes anytime soon. Thanks for the info.
