« on: December 29, 2008, 06:27:59 AM »
What would be the negatives for a 1/2 Moa scope? Im thinking i could just adjust the Leupold 1/2 "clicks".

Is it a long range rifle, a target rifle or a hunting rifle. If it's a hunting rifle and your off 1/2" at 100 yds, that's probably better than you could shoot in the field, meaning the 1/4" difference won't matter. If it's a target rifle or a long range rifle, the 1/4" could make a difference I'd think. Two of my rifles have, get this, 1" graduation's! Doesn't bother me in the least, they are hunting rifles. the rest all have 1/4 min grads but other than one rifle, long longe target - 500+ yds, I don't think it really matters. It I had a benchrest rifle, I'd want 1/4 there.

it is a hunting rifle and I am a marginal shot at my best.  I was concerned about it being difficult to dail in at 100 yards.  Thanks for your help.
