223 bullet selection
« on: December 29, 2008, 02:09:35 PM »
Ive heard that the Barnes is a good hunting bullet and so is the Swift but I would like some advice from other on here. Can someone tell me in which order (1 to 4) they think these bullets would hold together the best for hunting ?

223 Rem.;  70 gr. Barnes HP/BT , "Triple shock X"
223 Rem.;  70 gr. Speer JSP/SS-FB
223 Rem.;  75 gr. Hornady BT, "A-Max"
223 Rem.;  75 gr. Swift BT, "Scirocco II":

I will probably have to try a few for myself but Im glad you named your #2 the 75 gr. Swift BT, "Scirocco II" because I really want to go with and try one of the 75 grainers.
Thanks
