Are encore barrels interchangeable?
« on: December 30, 2008, 11:45:27 AM »
I am sure this question has been here before, I may have asked myself.  But, do Encore pistol barrels fit on Encore rifles?
Thanks..

While they fit, in America it is a violation of federal law to have a rifle with a barrel of less than 16 inches.  You could have lots of trouble if you put a pistol barrel on a rifle stocked frame.

in michigan you just need to take the frame in and regester as a pistol with multi barrels and you can use as a pistol with pistol grips or use as rifle with stock and 16 or longer barrel not sure on your state.

So it sounds that they are capable of being used on both but only as long as the stock or grip matches the barrel.  Thanks for the info.
