Check out the above post from handgunhunt.com.  If you cannot get this to come up, go to handgun.com handgun hunting forum for 11/04/07.  The 30-30AI is a popular handgun chambering and TC offered it as a standard chambering.  I have one of their 14" and it is incredible.

Your rifle barrel will get better velocities.  With the longer barrel, you could try the slower powders.

Take care and enjoy shooting

I was out at the range today and tried the nosler 150bt with 3031.  36 grains was hot in my barrel.  Make sure you work up to any loads you try.

I have a 24" Bullberry barrel in 30-30 AI for my G2. This caliber is awesome. I have hundreds of once fired 30-30 brass. Easy to fireform.
I load with 3031 and 125 BT.
Good Luck with it.

Been shooting a 14" contender for 15 years. FWIW I started with BL-C 2 shot 5 in 1 hole at 100yds but the muzzle blast was HUGE. Might work in a rifle better though. I switched to IMR 4198 and got same groups, same velocities and 1/10th blast. You can start in the middle of regular 30-30 loads and work up from there.
I am shooting Sierras 135 SSP (discontinued >:( but I have plenty)
