Russian American Armory Bolt Actions
« on: January 02, 2009, 02:25:00 AM »
I recently came across the website for the Russian American Amory.  They import the Saiga (AK 47 variant) rifles.  I noticed they import several different types of bolt actions.  A few are .22 with a couple of biathalon competition rifles.  Has anyone seen any of the Russian bolt actions?  One interesting one is the 7.62x39 in a bolt action.  I looked on line for any dealer that might carry their products but struck out.

I have thought about a 7.62x39 bolt action for my wife. I looked at RAAC's website earlier this year and checked out their distributors that had websites. I didn't find any that showed the bolt actions, just the semi-autos. Might be nice depending on price but I have no idea what the price is and I wasn't interested enough to call them up to ask.

If we do decide on a the 7.62x39, it will likely be a CZ 527 or a Remington 799 or SPR18 single shot or maybe a rebarreled Savage.
