Cannon T-70 35mm SLR

I have a Cannon T70 SLR with a couple of nice lenses including a zoom lens. Is their a digital camera body that can use these lenses? A camera retailer told me no but he's trying to sell me a new camera and lenses. Is there an adapter that will fit the T70 lenses to a digital body? Thanks.

There are no Canon EOS cameras digital or film that will use the canon FD mount lens without the use of an adapter. There is an adapter B&H camera has them for $123. The problem with an adapted lens on an EOS camera is that you loose a lot of the automatic functions of the camera. I have not used any of the older (FD) Canon lens with my Canon digital cameras but I have used an old Pentax 500mm screwmount lens with an adapter. In the long run I did not feel it was worth it for what I wanted from my new camera.

You also lose infinity focus.
Canon after making big gains on Nikon with the EOS system, is now losing big because many Nikon lenses can cross sytems plus the latest Nikon digitals, if you want a digital, are as good as it gets, without exception.

Canon crapped on the old FD loyalists and now seems to be sitting on past glory.
