a late Christmas present.
« on: January 02, 2009, 12:59:51 PM »
Mi ex Mother in law who also happens to be my neighbor called me today and asked me to come over.  When I got there she took me upsytairs. No No not that kind of Christmas present.  4 Years ago I bough tmy Fahter in law a sidekick for fathers day. We sho tit once and he passed away.  Anyway she opened the cabinet and gave it to me today and asked mt to taek care of it.  After we both cried, I brought it home and cleaned it up and put it in the safe.  When the weather ges batter, I will take it out and shoot it. Next fall I will take a deer with it as he never got a chance to.  Then I will put it away with many other treasures I have inherited that are in the safe.

tomorrow is my dad's birthday, he died last january.  I have some stuff I wouldn't take any amount of money for that he gave me or had something to do with.

I have a remingtom 742 in 30-06 that my uncle left me, as well as my dad's model 99 in 300 savage  which is pre mil and my mothers pre 64 winchester 30-30.  I dont care if someone came in my house with a million dollars each, they are going no where and now the gun I just got is in the same category
