Win '94 30-30 trigger

Question; The trigger on (1970 era) my 94, is it normally loose as in it moves freely back & forth?

Your trigger is as it should be. It becomes steady when you cock the hammer.

Thanks, I thought so. I just was'nt sure as it was something that never really occured to me before I stripped it down. When I re-assembled I thought....why is this so loose..so I took it apart again, inspected it and put it back together but just wanted to be sure so I thought I'd ask.
