527 Carbine how do I adjust the rear sight?

Pretty straight forward question, but this is by far the finest looking firearm that I own.  How do I drift the rear sight without damaging it?  Elevation is okay, but I am 4-5 inches to the left at 50 yards.  There is a peen mark on the rear sight.
