Hornady .45 ACP TAP+P in 24/7 OSS DS

Need advise on shooting Hornady .45 ACP TAP +P in my 24/7 OSS DS. I shoot Standard ball for practice. I only use the +P for hunting and Home defense. Any problems?

I had a 24/7 pro in .40 caliber and it shot everything I ran through it from ball to +p+.  I never had problems with it and it was a good pistol.  The only reason I traded it was cuz I got it when it first came out and could not find accessories, ie holster, night sights, stuff like that.  I had a Taurus catalog and it said all 24/7 type pistols are rated for +P ammo.  I wanna get a 24/7 compact in .40 once I save me up some dough.  I also have 2 glocks, but love the way the 24/7 shot.  I think your pistol is a tough one and if you practice with ball and shoot the +p to hunt and personal defense your pistol should last for sometime.  Have fun shooting n God bless.

Thanks for the reply. I am waiting for a new catalog from Taurus. The only one I have does not even list the 24/7 OSS DS.

I have fired many hundreds of rounds of reloads through my 45 OSS with no problems after an initial problem was solved by the factory.  Factory and reloads are very accurate.  Out shoots my custom 1911 for a lot less cost.
Shoot often and straight.
