This .22 caliber air pistol is in almost new shape. What is it worth? and why is it so inaccurate?

I have basically the same gun but if memory serves me correctly mine has wood rather than plastic grips or maybe they just look like wood. Heck I've not looked at it in so long I honestly don't recall.
The barrel might need cleaning I know I'm guilty of ignoring that task as long as I can. The sights are a bit crude and the rear can shift side to side as you pump it if not careful. Mine is quite accurate really but a fellow I let shoot it long ago when I was not around to watch messed around trying to adjust the rear sight and stripped the threads on the screw or maybe the leaf that is the rear sight. It doesn't adjust any longer but is close enough for what I've done with it. Some day I might get a replacement rear sight and screw for it.
You might also try different pellets to see if it likes one more than another. Mine's a .20 caliber kinda wish it was a .22.
As to value I think I gave $30 for mine used but as new. I think new ones like them are around $75 or so these days or were last I checked. They are pretty nice little air guns.

GRAYBEARD - The sights on mine are tight. I will clean and lubricate the barrel, lubricate the seal, and try some different pellets. Thanks. - DON
