What to buy??

I want you opinions, should I get a Handi or the Rossi? I work at a Wal-Mart, so I can get either one at 10% off. The price isn't the factor. Knowing this is NEF forum I should know what to expect, but I was wondering if they are comparable. I was looking at the handi survivor in .223 and the Rossi in .223 with their heavy barrel. Thanks for you input and advise.

Thanks  for your honesty!!! I'm looking for a good single shot for coyotes among other things. I've been reading alot on here. Saw the Rossi in the gun book at work and thought I'd ask all you fine folks here what you thought, had expeirence with or heard of them. Been leaning towards the H&R anyway.

Welcome Nichols!! The choice is easy...get the American made product that you can get additional barrels, nice stocks and other goodies for!! ;D

Strange..... I never even thought of where it was made. Must be 12 years of working at China-Mart that has clouded my senses.

H&R......I personaly dont like the fit and finish of the grossi (rossi)

AS unbiased as it gets. I own neither NEF or Rossi but in handling and comparing both I would buy the NEF. The Rossi just feels like a toy to me. The NEF is solid. And just for argument sake they have been around by 1 name or another for a long time with very little change on design. Mainly because it is a solid functional design. Just my take on it
