Well l replace the 22 barrel with a new 17m2 barrel .Just took the 2 bolts out a pulled barrel put in a new barrel. Then I replace the standard bolt handle & spring with the heavy bolt that came with the barrel. It works fine just want fire. And it fired  fine before I replace the barrel .Ive had this gun apart many a times cleaning it and always fire fine after put it back together.

make sure that barrel is all the way in and the extractor groove is aligned properly before you do anything else.Whose handle and spring did you use?

It is chambering the cartridge fully?
Is it extracting the cartridge from the chamber?
Is there a firing pin mark on the casehead?

loosen the vee block bolts. with the bolt forward turn the barrel until it hits the extractor, turn it the other way until it hits the extractor then set it in the middle of its travel and retighten the bolts.
