I live near Ironton,Ohio. My home is 1/2 mile from any public road. This year after suffering from a broken foot for months,I tried squirrel hunting. Now some will identify with the chigger problem this last fall. I mean,i hadda go to the hospital and get a shot ,and 3 kinds of meds to slow these pests down. I finally found the only "cure" was to apply clear fingernail polish to the bites. Well.it's still January and i intend getting a little trapping in before the spring thaw. My fur buyer told me prices were going to be low,but money is not everything. I have enjoyed hunting and trapping for over 50 years. My youngest son does the deer hunting,so i have plenty of venison. But,I must get back into the hollows and set a few traps. To me,there is nothing to compare with trapping. Oh,you might want to visit my website[trappersjohn.com] and see some of my adventures. Feel free to sign the guestbook and post on the forum as I love hearing from fellow outdoorsmen.
