Be careful when letting your significant-other find out about your new hobby (should read "addiction" as you will soon find out.) You have opportunity to purchase many different calibers and barrel lengths. Since most of these barrels look alike, you can start to accumulate multiple barrels and will seemingly walk out the door with the same gun each time. Just like women and their black shoes. They have 20 pair, but we husbands always think they are wearing the same shoes.
After about the 5th new barrel, you will have to purchase a second frame, but again, it will look the same as the first, so you can still have multiple guns while seemingly only having one.
If you obtain an alternative color (stainless frame in addition to a blue frame), you will have to then purchase additional barrels to match. This will be obvious to you and your buddies, but your wife may not notice the difference in color. Just like us husbands don't always notice the difference between their black shoes, navy shoes, or dark brown shoes.
Another thing you will need to do is to purchase a very large gun case. Show the significant other the gun case with the first contender in it. Show her how the ear muffs, binoculars, ammo, targets, stapler, etc all fit in the one gun case. As you accumulate more barrels and frames, you can gradually swap out your range items and leave them in your truck. She wont be the wiser until you start to lean as you walk. A simple solution to this is to buy two gun cases to start with so you can always walk equally loaded.
