The Great Credit-Crunch Hoax of 2008
« on: January 09, 2009, 07:20:05 AM »
If there was really no credit crunch, then why the big lie? Maybe Paulson just realized his buddies at the big banks were insolvent, you know, bankrupt. If you recall, Paulson was one of them. Of course the bubble was going to burst anyway. All Austrian economist new that two or three years ago. Perhaps banks are not making consumer loans because consumers are up to their hilts in debt and don't want to borrow anything right now; which is probably a good idea. Never fear, Obama will borrow and spend for you; even if you are the one he borrows from. Intelligence abounds!

In the 60's .. we borrowed from SS so we wouldn't have to raise taxes to pay for the Vietnam war. The politicians understood that if tax payers had to cough up to pay for that war .. it would soon end.

With SS already tapped, Raygun initiated "borrow and spend' in his successful attempt to bankrupt the Soviet Union (although this set the stage to bankrupt the US as well).

Bush took "borrow and spend" to all new levels because he believed the ding dong PNAC'ers who said that oil revenues would pay for the war in Iraq.

Now our economy is trashed, and some who suffer from rectal/cranial inversion try to pass this disaster along to Obama. Get a clue

That's a fact! Here is yesterday's headline:

Obama is still crafting his stimulus plan, but he intends to create 3 million jobs by spending about $800 billion.

Now, if my math is correct, that will cost us $266,666.67 per job Obama creates. After this, I expect we will have less to spend, therefore factories will cut down on production, businesses will bankrupt, and at least three million real jobs will be lost.

All of our presidents at least since Eisenhower have sold us out. When Nixon was forced to abandon the gold standard in 1971 because of LBJ's entitlements, the snowball excellerated.  Watch IOUSA on CNN Saturday and Sunday.

“We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before, and it does not work... I say after eight years of this administration, we have just as much unemployment as when we started -- and an enormous debt to boot.”

Read it and weep .. see what Raygun and Bush did to us .. as far as Obama .. what would you have him do? Most right wingers agree that stimulation is needed

It's like when AIG was bailed out to the tune of over 125 billion and not a peep was hear from the right .. but when the auto industry needed 15 billion .. the republicans whined

I would have him severely trim the size of government, balance the budget and forget the stimulus. A stimulus is based on one mans teachings, John Maynard Keynes. It does not even make common sense. Your family is in financial straights so you borrow and spend more. Mises, Haberler, Rothbard, and Hayek, along with many other respected economist told us the cause and that priming the pump is not the answer. Keynes only saw the symptoms, not the cause. So we treat the symptoms while the patient dies. Everyone in Washington is a Keynesian because all politicians love to spend, as long as it is somebody else money.

Ask Dr. Bono of Zimbabwe. Following Keynesian advisors, he crafted a very big stimulus package to spur the ailing economy back to life. Now all Zimbabweans are millionaires (if they have any money) and can't buy a piece of bubble gum.

I weep when either party is in office; there is not a lot of difference in the outcome. Democrats spend more on the welfare state and Republicans spend more on empire building.

I suppose he won the election fair a square ?
And his Birth Certificate is all legal and such ?
He is here to help you , and we should just give him a chance huh ?
And maybie name calling isnt going to help anything is it ? but it is the typical response used by a liberal when they cant think of anything else to say. After all these years you would think they could come up with a better game plan other than acting like babies.
Or is that the best some people can do because they look to start trouble.
Not a bad word at all about the Golden Boy , Its all Regan's fault ,then Bush finished it off.
The Pharaoh is just a poor fellow who was put in office to solve all our woes wasn't he ?
No mention of the events we all saw coming from ACORN ,or the fact he was a major player in the Houseing / Mortgage problem.
How about his statement that YOUR Constitution is a Flawed document needing his attention ?
His friend who was just some guy in the neighborhood, stated that 250 Million of us will need to be liquidated ,does that include you ?
Its all the republicans fault isnt it ? every time he shows his Mug the stock market plunges , he just must be one fugly dude huh ?

Maybe someday Liberal Hacks will not be allowed to access the INTERNET !

If any of this crap had any merit .. the RNC would be riding tight herd on this  ... the fact is .. there is nothing substantive and is only paranoid crap from "out there" individuals

I'm constantly entertained by right wingers that try to play the Fannie and Freddie card. Even that twit, Monica Crowley tried to blame the entire financial meltdown on Fannie, Freddie, Dodd and Frank .... conveniently ignoring the fact that the worse abuses at Fannie and Freddie happened in 2004 & 2005 when Republicans chaired the oversight committees

Frankly, it is the fault of republicans who pushed away regulatory needs and responsibilities ... can you say Phil Gramm?

I never said i was a Republican ,Im a Constitutional Conservative , who went to liberal Collages and acted like a Liberal so i could Pass the courses.
Ive spent 8 years around you guys ,in your Homes and invited to your party's  ,as well as marched in your causes as an outspoken Liberal activist.
Im a SPY  ,and i know how utterly childish and dangerous you Communist can be ,as well as the Cowards you secretly are.
Im an Ann Colter , Liddy ,Conservative ,your worse Nightmare come true.
William Airs and Obamas other friends ,tell it how they feel it should be ,as they see it from their side.
My side feels you Liberals should have been rounded up in the 60s , and re-educated so we wouldn't have the problem we do today.
Im as far Right as you are far Left ,so we should just shake hands and leave this field before this goes any farther.
Our Day will come , You are now where we were, and we are where you were.
We will use your own tactics and Politics against you , it took you 30 years to do this ,it will be less than that for us.
If you think Americans didn't see the ballot stuffing ACORN was doing ,and the Intimidation and Lies the Left were telling then it is you who look stupid , not us.

Logically thinking, can anyone from the far left relate anything in the Democratic platform that differs from those of the communistic party lines?  Minor distinctions, possibly.  Any major distinctions, no.  The Party is all powerful with the intent to gain complete control over the populace along lines of social well being and ingore the rights of the individual.  This is the major difference between Reps and Dems.  The 2 majority parties spar and compromise between each other for tactical position in politics.  I like Phalanx believe in the constructionist, fundamental Constitutional principles, capitalistic economy, and individual rights above those of party politics or corporate businesses.  Party politics and corporate businesses have endangered individual rights, privileges and responsibility in our pursuit of happiness within government and society.  Corporate greed and power hungry politics deny individuals of their inherent opportunities with a capitalistic small business agenda.  IE owner of a general store compared to big box stores, mandatory and unnecessary laws that restrict small businesses by affirmative action or costly pre requisite impact studies before permit approval.  Then add in the various contradictory court decisions from all levels and the effect is almost prohibitive and extremely restrictive.  The Republican party differs somewhat from the Dems in that it uses big business as the controlling force, while Dems use social laws in which the good of society is more important than rights of the individual.  I think we have gone too far down the road of decay to correct these inequities and Obama will only accelerate this course.
Greg lost his battle with cancer last week on April 2nd 2009. RIP Greg. We miss you.

Deltics, I have voted Republican the last few years, but now I regret it, (not that it would make any difference). And I dang sure am not going to vote for the socialist democrat party. Big government robs us of our freedom and liberty. It hampers the economy. It creates a "dependent on government" segment in our society. Both parties have increased the size of government, making us poorer. They are both guilty. Reagan talked a good game of "government is too big", I liked his rhetoric, but then he fully funded all the governments socialist programs, spending more than even the dem.s before him. From now own, I will vote independent, most likely libertarian.
After Bush, and then Obama, I may not be alone.

I am hoping we return the US to her former glory myself ,but maybe that is not possible..

I mean ,We ,ALL, built a Saturn Five Rocket.
We ALL Helped the USS Nautilus Crash through that Ice.
We ALL ,Pushed Allen Shepherd to Go into Space.
We All knew People would be Starving if it were not for U.S.
We ALL pulled that Little Girl out of that Well in Midland Texas.
We ALL stayed Brave and never gave up when, Apollo 13 was on Her way Home.
We all fainted When Chuck Yeager Broke the Sound Barrier.
We All made a Company called, Microsoft , RCA , GE , Westinghouse , Zenith , Boeing ,Hughes , Grumman , GM ,Jeep , Ford , Harley Davidson and Indian Motor cycles ETC!!!!!
Names like ,,The Marines , 82nd Airborne , 7th Fleet , NORAD.
Heroes like ,JFK ,Reagan ,then some other guys ....
We made ,CCR , Alabama , Tom Petty , George Strait ,Lenard Skinnerd , Elvis , Jewel , John Anderson , Pat Benatar and Fleetwood Mac.
Television was never the same as we saw Worlds we would never see , Story's we would Dream about , and The Silver Screen showed us Entire Reality's we only read or dreamed of.

Then we saw :
We Buried JFK ,and Regan.
We ,Watched as Our Shuttles Burnt into Fire balls.
Our Military became a Police force with no real direction.
Our hero's were silly People on a Show called,Surviver.
Our kids Lost all Concept of an America built on hard work and faith.
Our Company's had to Build cheap, o, junk to compete with cheap imports ,then the Imports became better.
All of a sudden the Gun Owner was Categorized as the Nuts who were shooting up our Society .
Our Media was as bad as the tabloids that line the Super Market Isles.
Our Millitary is feared even by the ones who supported Them when others were calling them Murderers ,this is a dangerous bond to brake Guys.
And this was all just our last two generations.

But we are still the kids who watched Niel Armstrong Step onto the Moon.
We are still the ones who can look at a 57 Chevy and say WOW.
And we are all the Ones who cried on 9/11.

We Dont want to Hurt anyone from Any place in this Country .. We, So want to be Americans now and Forever.
To see the Next things our Children will do as the future Heroes of this Country, Ours WAS, the Greatest Generation .
And we Hope we never hear the names, Shiloh , Antietam , Gettysburg , ever again.
In this time i Command ,That you take the Secular to Jerusalem .
There you rid the Holy City of the Scourge of Islam , Make the streets run red with the Blood of those who wish to wash Israel and Christianity from the face of the Earth.
