40 XB KS LEFT HAND Thoughts?

Local shop has one in .308 they say is a factory rep demo for $1890.  This is blued action with 27" SS barrel and sythetic stock. Gun looks clean and I don't see any issue from quick look.

Thoughts on the 40 XB action and this gun, as well as the price they are asking?

Putting aside the fact that models from the Custom shop may or may not be any better than lesser priced models doesn't change the fact that according to the msrp of that rifle, the price you can get it for seems quite good.

I would personally love to have the Model 40-XBBR KS, I just don't have $3,800.00 laying around

Seems kinda "wrong handed" to me. But if not for you I'd say it's a good buy. The 40X rifles all come with a factory accuracy gurantee they were actually the first rifles to ever do so. I'm not sure what the current standards are and it does vary by chambering/caliber but they all are far more accurate than rifles from any of the other big name makers even those with an "accuracy gurantee".
