RED PAD 270
« on: January 13, 2009, 04:52:13 PM »
Yes sir walked right into a red pad, tang safety, 270 with rings tonite. it is pretty nice, less scratches than usual has a rub spot at end of barrel
about 1/2 inch, no scratches on the metal. The guy wanted $400.00 and by the time we both quit kicking rocks i bought it for $350.
Don't know if that is good or not but i am happy. The only thing i would change would be it was a 280 then i would be double happy. :P ;D 8)

Nice find, Rex.  I kind of like those "old model" M77s myself.

man i really like the old red pads, he had the 270 and a 300 win mag
both looked good but i opted for the 270, just don't have a use for a 300mag.
