I think whatever the relationship or lack thereof between any of the online cannon sellers operating out of Malaysia, the Philippines, Southeast Asia, y'know, way over there, really is, you have to have so much money you won't miss it at all to deal with 'em and not stay awake at night wondering what happened to your money.

My purpose here is to make sure everyone who can read this is FOREWARNED!

One of the articles in the Artilleryman index I posted a link to recently deals with online cannon sellers, but I haven't got the article.  If I ever intended to attempt to buy a cannon online again (I do not) I would get that article and read it.
