Here's a link to a new Ruger Revolver for 2009.  Thought some of you might find it interesting.

Interesting pocket revolver.   No hammer to snag, etc.  Will be interested in reading the reviews of this pistol.

I went to the SHOT show last week and got to handle and dry fire the LCR.    This thing is sweet!  It only weighs 13.5  oz and the contours are really smooth.   The trigger is totally different from any other Ruger I own or have shot.   If this new revolver is as rugged as  every other Ruger then I think they will have revolutionized the making of concealed carry weapons.

Looks like it just might be the ticket for the little lady to carry in her CCW purse.

It definately has a "softer" feel to it.  The aluminum frame is covered for the most part by the Lightweight polymer.   I want to see some gun writer or Ruger do an endurance test on it with the +P loads.   If it holds up it will sell a million.  And I bet there will be many of the female persuasion buying them.

Wish it came in the 327 Federal.

I guess only time will tell how tough this new Ruger is.   327 federal operates at twice the pressure of the 38 +P..   (45K vs 20K pressure).  If the LCR can handle that it will make the perfect CC revolver.

Put two on order from a distributor this morning.  Should be in the middle of March.
