As is the case with most all things "Photobucket" they don't seem to work for me.  ::)

That was nice. Watching those beagles run took me back to my teenage years hunting bunnies with my Grandpa and his dogs. Happy memories and great times. Thanks!

Very good videos but, being a handgun forum, I was wishing for some .22 pistol action? Looked like all had a great time of it. My mistake, I did see a handgun in the last video?

Mad,

If those are your clips, well done, sir.  If I had the choice, I would replace about half of what I see on the Outdoor Channel, with your exploits.  I really enjoy seeing dogs work, and would love to know how you have the camera set up for your "self shots".  Looks like a Contender in 410 or perhaps the 45/410 model?  looks like a ton of fun, and something neat to do when the snow is deep, and the big game hunts are over.

i just post to share.my one buddy hunts with a super commanche until his contender is delivered in a couple weeks and the other guys are shopping for handguns to hunt with.
the camera i use is this one.it really is solid and does a decent job,no zoom just wear it on hat and push a remote to start recording.its small but not junk like some others out there.
here is the link

when i get more clips i will share.i can't wait till crow season with the handgun lol
and yes its the 45/410 with a 14"barrel.i just put a eotech sight one it and hit a couple flying starlings

Mad,

Thanks for the camera link.  Not in my budget these days, but certainly not an unreasonable cost.  I finally have a digital still camera that will shoot decent motion, so I hope to start playing around with it once the weather gets better.  maybe a 1/4-20 stud on a bicycle helmet ;)

I only played around with shorter 45/410 Contenders.  looks like your 14 is pretty deadly.

Thanks again,

Craig

my buddy has one with a 10 barrel and the the only difference is his is much louder and has a massive muzzleblast.as far as pattern its the same.
i see the only benefit of a longer barrel is you have a longer sight plane between the bead and groove.
ya the camera is really nice but i got it as a gift.i did some research on hands free cameras.there are several that are about 150 bucks and are cordless but they suck in quality.video techs recommend a camera that takes 30 frames per second for internet broadcasting.anything slower(24 or 15)and it looks like the picture jumps around.anything more and it blurrs

Madcatter,

It seems you are every forum I go on.  .410 pistol for bunnies nothing better.

One note a .22 is not a good weapon of choice when hunting with several people and several dogs.  It is too hard worrying about riccochets.  A .410 is a lot safer in my opinion.
