NOPE! Duck tape and flour paste is all that works here. But if you have a Glock it is Dee tool to have.

Yea, I know SHOOTALL, just about ANYTHING will work taking a Glock apart except a 4 pound shop hammer. When these are used, you have to use duck tape to reassemble them.

Well, can't say my Glocks inspire any pride of ownership. Certainly not affection, like a fine Hi Power, a well tuned 1911
or an "N" frame Smith might inspire. They do provide a sense of confidence and security when you need it, maybe even a warm glow---------

As far as affection in my respect of Glocks, I don't feel anything as you described either. A Glock is likened to a can opener. It isn't pretty but, if you are hungry it is invaluable.
The thing with Glock is that everyone wants it to be TOOOO different. A revolver is a revolver regardless of whom built it, whether it be Smith, Colt, or Ruger. Yes the design is some what different, but the concept is basically the same.
This is true also with an auto loader. If a 1911 will shoot a 45acp, reloaded lead bullet, it is, or should be, OBVIOUS, that a Glock will also. I suppose it is a mystery to some, and these folks seem to need it (the Glock) to be different. They feed upon the unsubstantiated RUMOR MILL. With the exception of the double stack magazine feed, and the absence of a hammer, but rather a striker instead, they are the same.
Even their feeding is much the same as a good Browning Hi-Power. A spade, is a spade, is a spade after all.

The top half of the Glock is mod. Colt .
The draw to glock is low cost good reliablity plain and simple . You want a looker with a nice trigger and fancy grips ? need not look at Glock .

Speakin of tools used for glocks...I took a small screwdriver that fit and cut off the phillips tip then did some light sandin and polishin and whala....my own personal glock tool, with a fancy clear yellow handle and red clear end cap.

As for triggers...a model 17 smooth trigger and a lighter lone wolf trigger spring...some light polishin of parts and ya got a mighty smooth runner in my model 27.
