Made up some outdoor furniture this summer, mostly out of red cedar:

Banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered - - Thomas Jefferson 1802

Ahshucks, very nice work. In your second photo is that going to be a windmill or an oil derick to place in your yard? Carl L.

Hi
Photo #7? Heavy duty thick wood. Too short for a bird house? Looks like a screened bottom, some thing is going to live it? Just noisy. Neat looking projects!! I liked the shop in the back ground.

Actually it is a lawn ornament, do to the city Father's restrictions on windmills.  So I topped it off with this:

Now that the neighbors haven't complained at all, in fact, some rather like watching it.  Alerts one to wind direction and speed.  I do have a wind genny I may stick up on top of it this Spring to generate a bit of electricity for outside lights perhaps?

Actually it is a bottom bird feeder that keeps the pests away, except the squirrels have figured out a way to get to the suet that is in it.  Great for feeding woodpeckers & nuthatches up here in the cold North that don't mind hanging upside down.
