Kinda looks like a Genesis/Triumph cross breed to me. They also have a new Buck Stalker, according to the article. Has anyone else seen anything else new in the inline muzzleloaders? Please post if you have.

Is there a reason Knight can't just buy a Triumph and make an exact copy of it?  Do patent laws not apply to CVA/BPI & Traditions?

Traditions must not think so.  The Pursuit is a copy of the Knight Shadow.  I don't think any of the break opens are good looking, but you'd think patent laws would cover these designs.

I agree, I don't know why anyone would copy it.  A full camo job might help.

It seems to me that both CVA & Traditions have always cloned rifles after the most popular selling guns in the US Market... The trick was to clone then under-sell.  And most likely they are not violating any pattent rules because they make changes in design to clear themselves of that violation.

That bothers me, but I guess most folks are ok with it.  Which one was the MK-85 knock off?  I think I owned one for a few months before I gave it away.  It was very accurate.

There certainly are a lot of simularities - but didn't it all start with a Thompson Encore... also look how many different copies of the Omega have arrived on the market...
