BLR 22-250 accuracy
«

I am considering two BLR's...7mm-08 for my father in law and 22-250 for myself. I doubt I will ever make 300+ yard shots, but I was wondering if anyone has range experience with the BLR 22-250 and its 20" barrell. Will it shoot/stabilize the 60 or 70 grain bullets with the 1 in 14 twist or would I be limited to 50-55 grains? From other posts I wasn't really concerned with the 7mm-08 accuracy.

doc, IME a 1/14 twist will limit you to 55gr or lighter bullets. My 223, 1/14 shot 45gr the best. Regards, Byron

40 and 50 grain Vmax's should shoot very accurate - you may get away with a 62/64 grain bullet but probably not.
