What scope

What is the difference in a rifle scope and a shotgun scope,is it in the FOV of the scope and what is that?

I enjoy collecting guns, swaping and staying up on all the newest models. I deer, quail, squirrel and rabbit hunt.

Nope FOV has nothing to do with it. Mostly it's the distance at which parallax is set to zero. Much closer on a shotgun scope than rifle scope.

Thanks GB ,what is parallax , i see some set at 75 yards and some at 150 yards ?
