Probably a gazillion people have had problems with this model rifle.   The main problem I have heard about ( never owned or wanted one myself) was with the barrel working loose from the press-in fit with the reciever.    After being fired an indeterminate number of times the barrel will start to move out of its proper place in the reciever because of vibration and recoil, which opens up the head space in the chamber.   There is no fix for this at all that I am aware of.   Remington built these rifles because they were cheap to build and inexpensive but IMHO I don't consider them even a fair value.   Is this the issue you are having with yours?
