Modernizing Hunstman/Sidekick!!

I got an email today, they're starting R&D on a Huntsman/Sidekick muzzleloader that will have modern improvements such as a better breech plug and ramrod, it's always good news when they're interested in bringing back and improving products that were once discontinued, maybe there's hope for the Whelen and x39!!  ;)

Great news Tim! My son will need a muzzle loader in a few years. Is there an average time frame between R&D and release to the public? Charlie

Hope the plug will be backwards compatable or use the old carriers. I'm afraid mine will become obsolete.

Dunno Charlie, but I suspect it will be before hunting season this year, Remington has a lot more resources that Gardner did to git r done!! ;)
