Did a little more research. B&C makes a black synthetic stock for the 799, for about $170.00. So, I guess if someone wants a mini rifle in 7.62x39, and doesn't want a CZ with the protruding magazine and reverse direction safety, then this may be an alternative. But, you may have to pay an extra $100 or so to get a gunsmooth to smooth up the action and the trigger, and then, if you want a synthetic, that's extra. So by the time you do all of that, you have spent about $620!
I would really really want to make sure that there are no feeding problems with the 7.62 round before I bought that rifle.
