Rifle bipods what one is the best?
« on: January 22, 2009, 08:59:10 AM »
I don't know if this is the best pl;ace to post this question.  What rifle bipod is the best. Is it harris, versa pod,  caldwell or shooters ridge.   The reason that I ask is I have always been told that harris was the best and would hold up the best.  However the price is about 30% more than the comparable bipod from another maker.  With harris are you really getting the best or just a name?  I am thinking about getting one for sitting height,  any suggestions?

I  have a adjustable Harris that I have used for several years. Very durable, work well at diferent heights. worth every penny I paid. I dont have any experience with any other brands but dont think you would be disapointed if you got them. One thing, pay attention when closing them cause even after several years they have no problem at all eating the hide off of my fingers then I am accident prone too. Have a good one.........Bill

I have bought 3 bipods, 2 Harris and one at Wallyworld. They look almost identical save for the price!!! Well, the Wally world item fell to pieces, the Harris bipods are still going strong.

Over the years I have used Harris bi-pod's. Never had any problems with them.

How about the B-square bipods??  Anyone use them or hear anything bad about them?
