cz 22 mag accuracy

Hi, I am curious aas to whether the 22 mag version is as accurate as the 22 long rifles assuming both are using hunting ammo.What kind of accuracy is the 22 mag version capable of at say 50 and 100 yards ?Thanks craig

Mine is not.  My .22 mag American is currently unacceptably inaccurate.  My 452 FS in .22 LR is the most accurate .22 I own.  Hopefully, me and the mag will work it out, but as of now it sure isn't my favorite date.  It's a pretty rifle, but doesn't shoot as good as I'd like it to.

I can't speak for CZ's .22mag models but I sure am delighted with the 527's we have in the .222 Remington and the .223 calibers. They both shoot under 1/2 inch groups at 100 yds off the bench. Yes, I did type "under" 1/2 inch MOA. using Hornady factory V-Max bullets. I don't even bother to reload for these rifles. I am very very happy about my purchase of both guns!  8)  8)  ;)

Best place for this question is on RFC dot com.  I have a CZ special in 22LR that I absolutely love.  My 22 WMR is a Savage and shoots sub MOA @ 100 with CCI, Hornady and Federal.

i guess you have already purchased one or the other but my cz-452 American is a shooting little machine with the right ammo and a little floating    if i miss a squirrels head its not the guns fault

My .22WMR Lux shoots very well. 1" with scope at 100 yards with CCI 40 grain ammo. I rarely have the scope on it because I like the open sights so much. Bought some cheap (for .22WMR anyway) Federal Champion 40 grain FMJ's recently and got groups averaging about 5/8" at 50 yards rested with the sights. 50 grain Federals shoot very well also, Fiocchi too. Only Dynapoints have been noticeably inaccurate.
I highly recommend the Lux.

My lux likes maxi mag plus v 30 grainers. It shoots into about one ince at one hundred yards.
