C-lect choke on 500

I inherited a 12 ga 500 with a C-lect choke,question is can you shoot 00 buckshot through these,or do you need to leave the choke wide open.Or is it even a good idea. ???

Your shotgun should do okay with buckshot and the choke system. You can mess with the choke to see which setting works best with buckshot. Over the years, I've found I/C or MOD to work best where patterns are concerned.
