sharpners
« on: January 28, 2009, 04:55:13 AM »
I am a nut about knife sharpeners, you know the better mouse trap.
I was given a little tool about 2 1/2" X3/4" with i think tungsten carbide
inserts. This thing is unbelievable, about 4-5 passes though it and
yo knife be Sharpe. I think several co. make them, don't know if they are
all as good. I took a couple of folders that were pretty dull ran them
through, then hit them a lick or two with a super fine diamond hone, and
i can not believe how these old dogs shaped up. I need to find 3-4 more of these, one in every hidy hole

I had a couple of those years ago.  I kept them in the kitchen and they did a decent job on the knives.  No idea where they went to ???
