Gameseeker scopes

Am looking at a Pentax 4x12 Gameseeker . Any opinions , good or bad??

I have read that the glass is real clear but the recoil kills these scopes(gameseeker line)

I have 2 of the 4x12's and 2 of the 1.5x6. For the money they're great scopes. No problems at all. Dave

Just rec'd the Gameseeker optics package with the 4-12X40 scope and Binos. It's going back immediately. The "halo" around the lens takes up a third to one half the view. Feels well built,but I was shocked by the view or lack of view.

Hmmm, just looked through mine again. Don't see any halo. Guess mine isn't a saint. ;D

Received my outfit also. Dissapointed about the eye relief too! I`m just not sure if I will keep it or send it back? Bought mine from Camera Land and i am kinda fuzzy about the send it back policy.....

Not sure about sainthood, I'm glad you got a good one, but you would play hell using this one on anything but 4 or 5X. Unfortunately looks like another example of hit and miss China quality.
