6.8 Rem.
« on: January 29, 2009, 03:44:13 PM »
Starting to reload for my 16" 6.8 rem spc. 110 v-max touches my lands at 2.96 oal,so if I back off .o5 that makes my oal 2.91. Do you think this sounds right? I will be using H322, ssa small primer cases and CCI 450 small rifle Magnum primers.

I have not personally loaded for this caliber. But 5-10 thousandths off the rifling is a standard practice. I like the closer side for bench work and 7-10 for hunting loads.

I didn't check your powder app or load data, but seating as you describe should cause no problems.

Thanks for the reply I was thinking of 29gr of H322 to see what it would do.
