FALL FEVER
« on: August 26, 2003, 12:40:16 PM »
Who else has it? I've got it bad. I am so ready for Fall, so I can start doing what I love. Squirell season come in a couple a weekends ago, here in KY. Bow season comes in a couple weeks from now. Then gun and muzzleloader season will come in for deer, fall turkey season, rabbit season, and finally TRAPPING SEASON. I can't wait!
Trapping ain't a sport; It's a way of life

Ky, we have been hit with temps in the upper 90s here in Mn..Hard to spend 10 days in this heat and not hope for fall.I am right in the middle of the heaviest of the convention season, so I am spending a lot of time talking to trappers.
I will get wild with the fever when my last convention is done, then it is time to get everything ready. Also it will be duck and goose season,so I hope to waterfowl hunt a bit before I start on beaver.  Tom

Well you guys could go modify some traps or make some snares...can't ever have too many  .

Dove, squirrel and grouse season opens Monday, and early Teal season the next weekend (I'll be thinkin of you Boggy).  Real ducks open in Oct, Quail in Nov.  The big stuff starts (bow) Monday and runs through Dec.
All of that and I'm not prepared    I'm ready though. 8)

Wacky, last time I saw rain was at the NTA.All the things I am working on now ,is to shore up my inventory for orders during the upcoming season.I am also working on the the I dislike doing the most--my new catalog. This keeps me sitting in one spot for hours, and it drives me nuts--I know--short drive you say.
Have to finnish inventory on Lenon's Lures so I can order more from Asa.Then its the same on Dobbins lures, books and videos--then right on down the line.
So Mr.WackyQuacker I am fairly busy, but it all leads up to the finest time of year---Fall--gotta love it.
Now after all this typeing I better go take a nap.  Tom

Dan, Now I know why your wife doesn't let you come out and play in the evening. 9:52AM and you're screwen off on the puter instead of taking care of the "honey do" list.   :D

Yep, cool nights, and daytime highs in the low to mid 70's! It's coming! Goose season in 4 days and 18 hrs!

Wacky, sure wasnt complaining.Just part of business.
As far as loot goes--more hands outsretched waiting for anything that comes in,than at a hand shaking convention.  Tom
