« on: January 30, 2009, 04:57:09 PM »
Michael Steel(not sure if thats how its spelled)

A black man leading the Republican party....WOW!!!

What do all the good ole boys have to say about that?

Armageddon must be upon us! First a black liberal president and now a black liberal(so called by people in his own party) chairman of the GOP.

Yep, Steele is also an anti-gun political hack who favors an "assault weapons" ban.  Guess the RNC decided to "reach out" to the Brady bunch and the VPC.

Like preachers, and lawyers, pretty much all politicians are bad people.

The republican party has gone insane. There out reach all inclusive BS has cost them their leadership in both houses of congress. Because of  liberal north east people they took in so as to strengthen there majority, they could get nothing done that was conservative.
They needed to go back to there conservtive base, but no they are still in the all inclusive mode.
I quit the democratic party 45 years age because they no longer represented my beliefs. I am now quitting the republican party for the same reason. I will vote third party from now own.

The best definition of insanity I have yet heard is repeating the same behaviours and expecting different results.
So, yeah, I'd say they have gone insane.

Same here.  I quit the Republican party right after the election.  A lot of folks have quit:  The RNC could care less because they are focusing on the liberal vote.

That's because there are a lot more liberals than conservatives.  We will never have another conservative President.  The Liberals will make all the decisions for us from now on.

what would you all think if I said there is such a person that is a pro-gun liberal.  I know many here in Montana including our state governor and senators.  Most of my old hippie friends are are radical leftists and now are armed to the teeth these days.  Imagine a hippie May Day party in the mountains with tie dies, girls dancing in sun dresses or no clothes, and Ak47s with fixed bayonets. Its all true.  Thought maybe I would give you a window into what the far left looks like.    Well, in Montana anyways.   8)

I hope I never and I mean never run into a party of old hippies dancing naked. You gave me a window into something and I think it is praying to the porcelain goddess thinking about that.

If this guy is what people here are saying, we have been sold out completely and it is time for a revolution.

I'd think you might lie about other things too.

ha ha ha, :D :D :D
First of all, the dancing naked hippie girls are in their 20's and 30's if that helps with the mental image at all.
Not only is our state's governor and two senators pro- gun liberals, but they are also honest ranchers and like to hunt.  I dont make this stuff up.  Like I said, maybe its because IT is Montana, but I dont know many anti-gun people here from either side of the political spectrum.  The basis of most of our state's disputes are things like individual property rights versus rights of sportsmens access, money for economic developement versus money for agriculture industry development and of course the wolves. But if you really want to get things tense, go into the Dewey bar along the Big Hole River in October.   Ask some crowd of patrons what they think is the best caliber for elk.   Sometimes the response is a lively discussion with a little pushing at times.  Other times, you can hear a pinn drop.   :D

Heres some quotes from the new chairman of the Republican National Committee (as in, not a liberal) :o :o

Q: Your views on gun control?
A: My views are pretty much in line with the governor's. I grew up under some of the strictest gun control laws in the country. You can have all the gun control laws in the country, but if you don't enforce them, people are going to find a way to protect themselves. We need to recognize that bad people are doing bad things with these weapons. It's not the law-abiding citizens, it's not the person who uses it as a hobby.

Q: Should people have access to buy assault weapons?

A: Society should draw lines. What do you need an assault weapon for, if you're going hunting? That's overkill. But I don't think that means you go to a total ban for those who want to use gun for skeet shooting or hunting or things like that But what's the point of passing gun laws if we're not going to enforce them? If you want to talk about gun control, that's where you need to start. We've got 300 gun laws on the books right now. At the end of the day, it's about how we enforce the law.

hmmm....
I guess I should clarify my Position.  INDEPENDENT ( not given to group think)  In kindergarten, I would rather stand in the corner over having to sing that B.I.N.G.O. song with the whole class

I see Mr. Steele as a monkey-see-monkey-do appointee. The circumstances are such that it is clear the now-dead Republican party wanted a black guy for that job, other qualifications probably didn't matter. Obama is black, and is the leader of the democrat party. Therefore the republicans dug up a black guy to be the leader of the republican party. That's all this is.

More and more both parties are showing they are in reality one party that pretends to be enough different to make you think you have a choice. They are both owned lock, stock and barrel by the same super rich elites that are bent on making all the rest of us their slaves.

Matters get stranger by the day.
I was listenining to Rush today, who is gone this week.  I had to turn it off a couple of times, but I did not hear them mention this topic.
I was curious if they would talk about it, but was not surprised that they did not.
