Cheating
« on: February 01, 2009, 10:02:04 AM »
I may get in trouble for not posting this in the Cartridge Collection forum
but I felt this could maybe answered here also.

A member sent me a few cases for rounds I did not have in my collection.
One of them is a 7MM Mauser.
The problem I have is it has not been resized and the bullet will just fall in.

Can I take one of my other 7MM dies and neck size only the Mauser so the
bullet will stay?

Thanks,
Mike

Hope I don't get in trouble :-[

It will work if your "other 7mm dies" accepts the 7x57.  ???

If you have 7mm mag dies they are probably too long.  Try it.  It sure won't blow anything up if it desn't work!

If its an inert round for display why don't you just glue it in, a little super glue would probably do it.

Thought about that also.
More of a question if it could be done or not ;)
