I spoke with one of the manager of AllVertical, the owner of Shooters.com. The bottom line is the site is down for the short term but negotiations are ongoing to bring it back up ASAP. They do realize the site has significant value and also realize the value quickly diminishes as time goes by and members look for alternatives. Hopefully they will put up a "splash page" to give everyone some idea of what's going on. I don't have any other details at this time. So hang in there.
