my rabbit bud has the judge as a fun close in rabbit pistol. does anyone else have one??? i told him yesterday i going to wait for a 3'' model to come out.

I am not a Taurus fan, but I just had to have one to try. I got a 2 1/2 inch version and it is great for what it is. I did a bunch of testing at 10 yards and was impressed with results.

The 45 Colts gave me 2 1/2 inch groups at 10 yards. The slugs were about the same. The shot shells made a mess of the target and the buck shot was all in the kill zone.

The Judge is not a hunting gun, it is designed for up close work. If you keep it in perspective, the judge works great at what it was designed for.

when i go rabbit hunting and there is some kids around i end up just help run the dogs and let the kids have the fun. the only shots i taking were close range and nobody was around me.1 was at 7 steps the other was at 10 steps so they were very close anyway. we end up hunting in some very thick stuff.

I don't own one but have shot several of the 2 1/2".  410 is about what I expected, only good up close.  The .45C was  better , 3" at 25 yds. wasn't expecting that good with the long jump to the rifling.
Highwayman, the 3" has been out for awhile now, time to get one.
