Shooting Bench, Portable
« on: February 04, 2009, 05:23:43 AM »
Made up a portable heavy weight shooting bench that breaks down for taking to any impromptu range.  The 3 legs are made from heavy water pipe that screw into the bench top.  When dissassembled they clip into PVC pipe cut to use as holding brackets on the bottom.

Banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered - - Thomas Jefferson 1802

It looks like it works pretty good. I like the adjustable chair also. I guess you can use the step stools for other things. I will have to remember that one Carl L.

Great bench. I made this light weight bench last year. Bought the 6 ft damaged table for $5 and a salvage store.

Yep ... that's the plans I used.  Took longer to finish than make :)

I made a table several years ago that looks just like that. Biggest difference is my table top is 1 1/4 rail car decking.
