Large Frame Question
« on: February 05, 2009, 01:56:43 PM »
Can the trigger group be easily removed for cleaning and lubrication then reinstalled easily? Or is it some kind of nightmare job to do?

It is not what I would call easy, but is doable if your handy at firearm dis-assembly. You definitely want to have instructions though.

I had trouble awhile back with my model 40 getting the trigger group back together in the gun.  Check previous posts as I gave specific reassembly instructions, as was told to me by a Dan Wesson gunsmith.  It's difficult, but not impossible and with practice, it becomes easier.
